Before you can install the plug-in, you must have PHPMembers Username Plug-in and WordPress installed on your website, and PHPMembers and WordPress must share the same database. You should create username “admin” for your administrator accounts in both PHPMembers and WordPress. And your WordPress system should only have default user accounts.

Download WordPress Plug-in

The plug-in is available for download from the plug-in page. It is distributed as a zip package file. You need to unzip it and upload it to folder “plug-in” in the system.

Run Installation Wizard

To run the installation wizard, click on “plug-ins” on the system main menu, and then click on the install link of the plug-in. The installation wizard asks for the following settings of the plug-in.

• WordPress Path: The path you installed WordPress.

• WordPress Table Prefix: Prefix of WordPress table names in MySQL database. By default it is “wp_”.

• Username Plug-in: Username plug-in of PHPMembers.

Remove install.php

After you finish the installation wizard, you must remove install.php in the plug-in folder immediately.
